An illustrated notebook featuring British invertebrates including bumblebee, ladybird, peacock butterfly, common blue butterfly, emperor moth, noble chafer, stag beetle, dragonfly and roman snail. A6 in size, made from recycled paper.
Each notebook has 48 plain pages. Designed, made and printed in the UK.
Protecting nature and the natural world goes hand in hand with my love of art. All items will be sent in plastic-free packaging, in either a cardboard box, sealed with biodegradable paper tape, or a ‘green’ jiffy bag which is lined with recycled paper and is 100% recyclable. We have also teamed up with the environmental charity “One Tree Planted” to plant a tree for every 10 products sold.
Jess Smith is an illustrator, artist and freelance ecologist based in Surrey. Her love for art started from an early age, alongside her passion for nature and the outdoors. Jess sees a lot of British wildlife in her day job as an ecologist, including bats, reptiles, dormice, butterflies and newts on a regular basis.
All of her illustrated products are inspired by wildlife and created using a digital illustration tablet. The illustrations are then collated, designed and printed onto products such as tea towels, cushions, aprons and coasters.
Jess is passionate about conservation and preserving the natural environment and sends out all orders with eco-friendly, plastic free packaging. She has also partnered up with charity ‘One Tree Planted’ and plants a tree for every 10 items sold.
