Born-Eco complies with the principles of the General Data Protection Regulation which came into force on 25th May 2018 when dealing with all data received from visitors to the site.

We only hold the data necessary to offer services provided on our website namely to allow users of the service to buy and sell and also message one another.

 

Upon deletion of your account, which can be done from within your account settings, your personal data will be removed along with it.

As a store, if you wish to delete your account you may do so, we only ask that you inform us as listings may still appear after the store has been closed.

Born-Eco accounts/ stores cannot be scheduled for deletion.

-Name

-Payment information (PayPal email address)

-Contact information, such as an email address

-Demographic information such as postcode

-Other information relevant to customer surveys and/or offers

-As a seller, we may also collect information about your store, such as social media links, product photos, prices, and store information

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

-To process your order and payments

-Internal record keeping

-We may use the information to improve our products and services

-We may periodically send promotional emails about new products, special offers or other information using the email address that has been provided

-We may also use contact information such as email address as a way to contact users

-Seller information such as social media links and product photos are used within promotional material and through our own social media pages

-Seller information may be shared with third-party services such as online directories to help improve their experience with Born-Eco.

 

As a user/seller of Born-Eco, you are responsible for protecting user personal information you receive or process and complying with all relevant legal requirements when you use the Services. This includes data protection and privacy laws that govern the ways in which you can use a user’s information.
