Beeswax wraps are an eco-friendly substitution to plastic cling firm, foil and other non-recyclable and not biodegradable waste.
We take pride in producing eco-friendly products that are both good for our customers and good for our Earth.
THIS IS A DIY KIT TO MAKE YOUR OWN FOOD WRAPS in case you feel adventurous.
Kit contains:
- 2 x 25x25cm and
- 1 x 20×20 square fabric, (print as shown on pictures)
- 3 beeswax & resin pre-mix bars for your convenience.
- instructions sheet
- aftercare instruction
- spatulas.
With this kit you will be able to impregnate the pre-cut fabrics with our wax mix. They can be used to wrap and cover most food in the kitchen, excluding raw meat and fish. You may use them to cover dishes, keep cut produce from going bad, take a sandwich on-the-go, let cheese breath naturally, keep bread from going stale, cover food while outside, and so much more!
Sounds good, how to use it the food wraps one i managed to make them?
Trust me, it is very simple. Similar like folding napkins, but beeswax wraps have more structure.
When you wrap something, warm the wrap up a little bit with your hand placing and holding it onto the item you wish to wrap. Once it has softened up, fold like you would do so with a napkin or any fabric. It will hold it’s shape once it warmed up from your body warm.
